ZimWorX. Our team is HIPAA certified and we are partnered with Black Talon Security, a
cybersecurity firm with deep understanding of the healthcare and dental industries, who
handles our company’s cyber risk. By utilizing the latest threat detection tools, continually
assessing our network safety, and reviewing our data handling protocols—we effectively
minimize the chance of falling victim to a breach or cyberattack.
Our engagement with Black Talon provides a multi-layered cyber prevention program including
the following services for ZimWorX:
Vulnerability Management
Our workstations, laptops, and servers are scanned every 4 hours to detect vulnerabilities hackers may use to break into the network; and firewalls are scanned daily for external vulnerabilities.
Security Risk Assessment
ZimWorX undergoes a cybersecurity risk assessment annually with Black Talon’s security analysts to evaluate any new potential risks in our operations, and also assess if prior known risks have been addressed
Penetration Testing
Ethical hackers assume the role of a cybercriminal to attempt to breach our network on an
annual basis.
Cybersecurity Awareness Training
All associates must periodically complete cyber awareness training modules, including HIPAA training, through the Black Talon Academy. This increases their knowledge of current cyberthreats including social engineering, phishing, and malware—and teaches how to protect the safety of their devices while online and ensure the security of your data.
Managed Threat Detection & Response
Black Talon utilizes the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to identity malicious code and potential digital intrusions to our network—monitored 24/7 by credentialed security engineers.
